Day 01: Bull Temple - Gavi Gangadhareshwara - Omkar Hills - Raja Rajeshwari Temple - ISKCON - Ragigudda Anjaneya Temple
Our representative will welcome you at Bangalore Railway Station or Airport and you will be taken to the hotel. After breakfast, proceed to Bull Temple, a temple located in Basavanagudi and it is dedicated to Nandi Bull, the vahana (vehicle) of Lord Shiva. The temple has been built in the Dravidian style of architecture. There is huge idol of Nandi Bull inside the temple, measuring 4.5 m in height and 6.5 m in length.

Then proceed to Gavi Gangadhareshwara Temple, an example of Indian rock-cut architecture was cut out of monolithic rock probably in the 9th century. Gavi Gangadhareshwara Temple is famous for its mysterious stone discs in the forecourt and the exact planning allowing the Sun to shine on shrine in certain time of the year. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple contains also a rare idol of Agni, the God of fire.

Then proceed to Omkar hills, a spiritual place located in one of the highest, glorious spots in Bangalore. The Omkar Hills has several temples - namely Sri Dwadasha Jyotirlinga (12 Shiva lingams) Temple, Sri Matsya Narayana Temple, Sri Nagadevata Temple,Sri Vana Durga Temple, Sri Ganapathi Temple and biggest clock in the world.

After visiting Omkar hills, proceed to Rajarajeshwari Temple located in posh area RajaRajeshwari Nagar in Bangalore South. The temple of Raja Rajeshwari has been constructed in Dravidian style of architecture and built as per the guidelines of Agama Shastra. The main attraction of this temple is the six feet attracting stone idol of Goddess Raja Rajeshwari found in the sanctum sanctorum (Garbha Griha). Then proceed to hotel and relax for some time after lunch.

At 3.30 PM, proceed to visit ISKCON Temple, a temple located on a seven-acre hillock, known as the Hare Krishna Hill, in Chord Road and dedicated to Lord Krishna. ISKCON is built in the Neo-Classical style, which combines the conventional elements of temple architecture with modern high-tech amenities. Then proceed to Ragigudda Anjaneya Temple, a temple dedicated to Hanuman. Ragigudda temple also has a Shivalinga and the Rama, Sita, Lakshmana, Hanuman shrine in the same precinct. There is a smaller temple dedicated to Ganesh, Navagrahas and Rajarajeshwari at the base of the hillock. Return to the hotel and overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 02: Malleshwaram Circle Maramma - Kadu Malleshwara - Gangamma Temple - Dakshina Mukha Nandi Theerta Temple - Halasuru Someshwara Temple - Surya Narayana Temple - Shiva Statue
Morning after breakfast, proceed to visit Circle Maramma Temple, a temple dedicated to Goddess Maramma. The temple gets the name as circle Maramma because the temple is located in 18th cross near a circle. Then proceed to visit Kadu Malleshwara Temple, one of the oldest temples of Bangalore located in Malleswaram. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Kadu Malleshwara Temple is constructed using Dravidian architecture during the rule of King Venkojirao Bhonsle of Thanjavur.

After visiting Kadu Malleshwara Temple, proceed to visit Gangamma Temple in Malleshwaram. Gangamma devi temple is one of the important temples of Bangalore and located in 15th Cross, Malleswaram. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Gangamma representing the river Ganga (Ganges). Ganga, the River Goddess is the only living goddess of Hindu Mythology. Ganga represents the innermost pristine coolness, piety and purity.

Then proceed to Dakshina Mukha Nandi Theerta Temple in Malleshwaram. The main attraction of this temple is water falls on Shiva Linga from the mouth of Nandi (Bull - Vehicle of Lord Shiva) and this goes directly to Kalyani (a small pond) in front of the Lord. It is believed that this water is holy and because it flow down Shiva Linga. People carry this water to their home and it is used as medicine for various diseases. It is believed that drinking this water or putting on the body will cure of the ailments. Then proceed to hotel and relax for some time after lunch.

Evening at 3.30 PM, proceed to Halasuru Someshwara Temple, one of the oldest temples of Bangalore and it is built by Kempe Gowda I in the 16th century. The architecture of the temple is the mixture of Hoysala, Chola and Vijayanagara architecture.

Then proceed to Surya Narayana Temple in Domlur Layout. The temple is one amongst the very few Sun God Temples in India and it is located in Bangalore city. The Surya Narayana Temple is dedicated to Lord Surya Narayana (Sun God). The Surya Narayana Temple in Domlur is superbly constructed by expert and crafty artisan in Chola style. The idol is 3.25 feet in height along with the Prabhavalli. Underneath the deity, you can see the idols of Kashyapa and Aditi.

Then proceed to visit Shiva Statue at Murugeshpalya (old Airport Road). The Shiva statue in Bangalore is about 65 feet tall. The statue depicts Lord Shiva who is seated in Padmasana or Lotus posture (Meditating form). The Shiva statute looks superb during the night once it is lighted. You can also see 12 Jyotir Lingas here. Return to the hotel and overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 03: Meenakshi Sundareshwar Temple - Champakadhama Temple - Tour Ends
Morning after breakfast, proceed to visit Meenakshi Sundareshwar Temple at Bannerghatta Road. The Meenakshi Sundareshwar temple is beautiful temple with a beautiful Tower (Gopura) which resembles the very old Tamilnadu temples. The temple is a miniature version of the original temple at Madurai, Tamilnadu. If you enter the temple premises of Meenakshi Sundareshwar Temple in Bangalore, Lord Sundareshwar is seen at the entrance and Goddess Meenakshi is found on the other side of the Temple.

Then proceed to visit historical Champakadhama Temple located in picturesque surroundings with lush green in Bannerghatta. The history of the temple date backs to 12th century during Hoysala period under the ruler Tamilarasa and is dedicated to Lord Champakadhama incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The temple attracts huge number of devotees from Bangalore city and surroundings.

Then return to the hotel and relax for some time, evening check out the hotel and proceed to the Railway Station for your onward journey. Bangalore Temple Tour Package ends.
